I recently changed my whole wardrobe from oversized t-shirts and hoodies, to shirts, chinos, buckle shoes, and the whole menswear kit. I'm still wearing the same denim, though, which are skinny jeans. Should I keep them or is it better to start buying slim fit? thanks a lot!
Wear whatever you think looks best and is most comfortable. Please note that this rarely describes skinny jeans.
Hey i recently recently checked out Meermin and i'm looking for more of a casual shoe. Which one out their collection would you recommend? Maybe the Rapello blucher?
Don’t think you can go wrong with any of their plain-toe bluchers. I also like their captoe model as well, if you want something a little sleeker. One of their few holes is a rtw shortwing blucher in my opinion, but hopefully they’ll add one in the future.
Thanks for answering my silk knit tie question -- I was also curious what brand it was? I have a couple RL ones that seem skinnier; but I like the look of your wider one and wondered where to nab one for myself.
That’s a J. Press knit tie - they make some of the best around in my opinion. The RL ones are nice too, but too slim for my taste.
You seem to be quite the expert on dressing for occasions, so i wanted to ask, what would you recommend on wearing to a job interview for banana republic? Keep up the great posts!
Thanks man. I would probably wear a staple navy or grey suit with a light blue or white dress shirt and corresponding tie. Maybe throw in a simple pocket square too - keep it soporific, but don’t be afraid to add a little character, as it’s a job in the industry.
