I usually wear down vests over a sport coat or a sweater, with a scarf. Not sure if you’re going to be able to find any hooded vests cheaper than that Crescent one. Uniqlo and Patagonia have down vests, as do a number of other lower end retailers, but they’re all fairly basic. Beams+ and Supreme both make hooded versions that are pretty sweet, but they are likely just as pricey.
