Big fan of denim shirts - would pair them with navy trousers/grey/beige blazer, khaki trousers/navy blazer, etc. Wear them casually like a light blue shirt, depending on the shade of the fabric. If it’s darker, then adjust accordingly - find some contrast (can be subtle). They also pair well with knits like cardigans. Check out the Patrick Johnson tumblr for ideas too.
