So many buttons and bottoms in this question - hilarious. I wouldn’t worry too much about buttoning your bottom button cause the standard practice of not buttoning a bottom button is usually reserved for bottom buttons on a blazer/jacket. Buttoning bottom buttons on a cardigan is thus purely subjective and if you think it looks funny without the bottom button buttoned then I would just button that bottom button right up.
